\nAt Debattle.ai<\/strong>, your data sovereignty is a fundamental tenet of our service design. \nThis Privacy & Data Policy (\u201cPolicy\u201d) outlines the scope, boundaries, and framework under which data is processed, stored, and transmitted \u2014 \nwith full alignment to applicable jurisdictional regulations including but not limited to the European Union\u2019s \nGeneral Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)<\/strong> (Regulation (EU) 2016\/679), the \nCalifornia Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)<\/strong>, and relevant global data governance standards.\n<\/p>\n\n

This document is structured to inform users, regulators, and auditors of our data-neutral architecture and data-handling protocols.<\/p>\n\n

  • \n 1.2<\/strong> During gameplay interactions, the user\u2019s spoken input is converted to text locally<\/strong>, \n and the resulting textual content is anonymously transmitted<\/strong> to a third-party AI inference engine (OpenAI API) \n for analysis and response generation.\n <\/li>\n
  • \n 1.3<\/strong> No metadata, IP address logs, device identifiers, geolocation coordinates, session IDs, or browser fingerprints \n are recorded, stored, or associated with user activity.\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    • \n 2.1<\/strong> In accordance with the principles of data minimization and session continuity, Debattle.ai uses the browser\u2019s \n native localStorage<\/code> API to temporarily store a list of hashed question identifiers<\/strong> \n that have been used during the user\u2019s session to prevent repetition.\n <\/li>\n
    • \n 2.2<\/strong> This data:\n
        \n
      • Is strictly non-personal in nature,<\/li>\n
      • Is stored exclusively on the client-side,<\/li>\n
      • Is not accessible or transmitted to any external server, database, or third party,<\/li>\n
      • Can be purged at any time by the user by clearing their browser\u2019s local storage.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        \nDebattle.ai maintains a zero-retention, zero-collection stance with respect to personal data, and adheres to the\ndata protection by design and by default<\/em> principles outlined in GDPR Article 25. In doing so, we\nproactively avoid the need for complex consent management and cookie banners.\n<\/p>\n\n

        \nFurthermore, while our current deployment operates independently of major digital platforms, \nour architecture is structured with forward-looking compliance in mind \u2014 including but not limited to\nprovisions introduced by the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA)<\/strong> regarding platform neutrality, data access,\nand user autonomy.\n<\/p>\n\n
