1. Select language and category:

    • Supported languages: DE, EN, ES, FR.

    • Choose category:

      • Adults – deep, controversial or impossible statements

      • Teens – fast, funny, playful challenges

      • Toddlers – simple, colorful, imaginative topics

  2. Add players:

    • Enter names (2–8 players).

    • The system tracks and stores scores for each player.

  3. Select game mode:

    • AI Mode: An incorruptible AI decides the debate winner.

    • Vote Mode: All players vote for the best argument.

    • Toddlers Mode: No timers or AI – simple flow with voting.

🧠 Rules by Game Version

1. AI Version

  • How it works:

    1. A player receives a bold or tricky statement.

    2. Gets 15 seconds to think.

    3. Then has 30 seconds to record their response.

    4. A debate opponent is chosen randomly (with balanced frequency).

    5. The opponent also records a 30-second response.

    6. AI evaluates both arguments and:

      • Chooses a winner

      • Gives a comment

      • Awards a point

  • IMPORTANT:

    • 🎤 Start talking immediately!

      • Recording starts automatically.

      • AI evaluates confidence, clarity, and quick response.

      • Delays or silence at the start may lead to early termination or lower scores.

      • Start speaking right away when the recording begins!

2. Vote Version (no AI)

  • How it works:

    1. First player argues the given statement (recorded).

    2. A second player (opponent) records their argument.

    3. All players (including the two speakers) vote for who was better.

    4. The player with more votes earns a point.

      • In case of a tie, both receive a point.

3. Toddlers Version

  • How it works:

    1. A statement is shown and the first player is displayed.

    2. After clicking “Continue,” the debate opponent is shown.

    3. After another click, the voting phase begins.

  • No timers, no AI, no audio recordings.

  • Designed for kids – encourages verbal expression with adult help, then players vote.

🏆 Scoring and Leaderboard

  • After each round:

    • AI or player votes decide the winner.

    • Points are awarded accordingly.

    • A ranking table is updated and shown.

    • Scores persist unless the game is manually refreshed.

⚙️ Technical Notes

  • When all questions have been used:
    The system automatically resets the question list and turn count.

  • If no microphone is detected
    The game switches to the no-AI version automatically.

  • AI mode uses Google Web Speech API for voice-to-text.

  • As soon as the start sound plays, begin speaking.
